Don’t dismiss your intuition, cultivate it. Intuition is the capacity to process and put analytical information into a living context or an ecosystem beyond just dry business plans, financial numbers and expert opinions. Intuition uses data from our own and other long life and business experiences.
Intuition is cultivated and maintained by seeking aspiration and learnings form the world and people evolving around use. People that seek aspiration from close surroundings or circles tend to dry-off quickly. If you are in technology and science business seek diversity from art and social subjects and vice-versa. Be curious and remember that you will always find in the rivers what you don’t find in the seas. Also, bring people around you that can take you beyond the asthmatics of the numbers and infuse life soulless analytical data.
Intuition is important part of the decision-making process of successful enterprises and leaders. Steve Job did say “… you can't connect the dots looking forward; you can only connect them looking backwards. So you have to trust that the dots will somehow connect in your future. You have to trust in something — your gut, destiny, life, karma, whatever. This approach has never let me down, and it has made all the difference in my life.
